Game rules

Rules

You and the player across from you are partners.

The deck

24 cards, 9 through Ace. 5 cards each.
Trump order: Jack of trump (right bower), Jack of the same colour (left bower), A, K, Q, 10, 9. The left bower counts as trump.

Bidding

Round 1: order up the turned card's suit. The dealer picks it up and discards.
Round 2: name any other suit. The dealer must name one if all pass.
Going alone skips your partner for double points.

Scoring

Makers take 3 or 4 tricks: 1. All 5: 2 (4 alone). Euchred: defenders get 2.
