How Swipe works
Goal
Be the first to get rid of all your cards: your hand and your eight table cards.
Two regular decks. Everyone gets 4 cards face down on the table, 4 face up on top of them, and 11 in hand (9 with six players).
Your turn
Play 1 to 4 cards of the same rank, from your hand or your face-up table cards.
Equal or lower than the top of the pile: they go on the pile.
Higher: you pick up the whole pile, and your cards start a new one.
A 10 can be played any time: it clears the pile and you go again, as many times as you can. (With the boxed Swipe decks, SWIPE cards do the same.)
Four of the same on top of the pile is a swipe too: it clears the pile, and you go again.
Once a face-up table card is played, the face-down card under it can be turned over and must be played, sight unseen.
Ace is low (1), King is high.
Scoring
When someone goes out, everyone else scores the cards they still hold: Ace 1, 2 to 9 face value, J Q K 10, 10s 50 (when 10s are swipes; otherwise 10), SWIPE cards 20.
When someone reaches the target, the lowest total wins.
